Quest of Time Sinaia

Ecoxtrem challenges you to look at Sinaia from a new perspective, wandering in search of treasures the streets full of history of the place chosen as royal residence by Carol I himself.

Sinaia lies on the banks of the Prahova River and bears the name of the monastery founded by Mihai Cantacuzino. In the 19th century, the royal family ordered the construction of the Peles Castle complex, and the town became its summer residence. In the town there are no less than eleven historical monuments of national interest, including: the Sinaia casino, the railway station complex, the house of Nicolae Iorga and composer George Enescu and the monument of actor Ion Iancu Brezeanu. All these are included in a treasure hunt that changes the perspective on the mountain resort.

Participants will be divided into sub-teams that will set off from the centre of the town in search of places to complete a series of objectives on the competition map. The aim of each team is to complete as many objectives as possible in the given time, the strategy they adopt is crucial. The layout of the points of interest on the map will definitely make them start their treasure hunt with a well-defined plan and, to complicate the tasks, some challenges will only be open at certain intervals. At the end of the working time, the teams will meet at the starting point for the Ecoxtrem trainers to evaluate each other's performance and determine the winning teams. We will also discuss teamwork, strategies and efficient management of human and time resources in a debrief.
