Gold Rush

Gold Rush is the simulation that puts teams into an atypical scenario and, with surprises at every turn, tests the teams' ability to focus on the objective set at the beginning of the program. Extracting gold from the mine is no easy task, especially when each day presents new challenges and the resources the vehicle can carry are limited. Each team's objective is to cross a long distance to reach a mountain where they can find gold and bring the precious metal back to the base camp. The strategy adopted as well as the openness to taking risks are what will sustain the team's efforts or slow them down. As in business, a well laid plan is three quarters of the whole because uncertainty is the order of the day in the expedition. Adaptability and the ability to mitigate risks will influence each team to one extent or another. At every step, expeditioners will have to make decisions about financial, material and human resources. All the moves and choices of the expedition teams will be represented on a game board and in this way everyone can follow the progress of their opponents or make alliances. In any race there is a risk that the team may lose sight of the main objective and focus on intermediate ones or make decisions in the absence of all the information. All this is subject to a debriefing about planning and focus on the objective.
