Santa's Factory 13

Possible to pay in instalments

#smileheal

While most of us are used to spending the holidays at home with loved ones, surrounded by lights and decorations, around a table full of sausages and goodies, for others the Christmas picture is a little different. Behind closed doors, amid the sound of medical equipment and sterile spaces, little ones in hospital wards find hope, magic and fairy dust in nothing but human warmth.

This year we are even more ambitious and are teaming up with not one, but three NGOs offering psycho-support programmes in the paediatric oncology and treatment wards.
Because we know that even smiles heal, we challenge you to dream with us.

If you can imagine that sterile cotton wool is actually sugar, the buttons on the machine are Rudolf's glowing nose and the nurses are Olaf's sisters, then you can certainly become a leprechaun.

Help us bring smiles and hope to those who spend the holidays in hospital and let's show the little ones that Santa Claus comes WHENEVER he's needed.

SANTA'S CHRISTMAS FACTORY - EDITION 13: Smiles heal too!

Over the 12 editions of Santa's Factory we've discovered that kindness knows no boundaries.

And for every one of us who has had a loved one in hospital it is clear that smiles are all the more precious in these spaces. We think the 13th edition is sure to bring good luck. Because we are incurable optimists. We find the same infectious optimism on the faces of the little ones who play and sing in spite of the situation.

Be a leprechaun with us and let's give healing smiles!

TO WHOMARE WE GIVING GIFTS?

This year, the kind-hearted superhumans from three NGOs are helping us to deliver letters to Santa.
They are the Innocents Foundation, the Little People Association and the Ronald McDonald Children's Foundation.

The Innocents Foundation works in the "Alessandrescu-Rusescu" National Institute for Mother and Child Health where beneficiaries suffer from chronic diseases such as Cystic Fibrosis, Thalassemia Major or autoimmune diseases, which is why they often return to the hospital for check-ups and treatment.

The Little People Association is involved in the renovation of onco-pediatric wards in the country and in fundraising. The letters from Little People come from the Bucharest Oncological Institute and the Marie Curie Children's Emergency Clinical Hospital.

The Ronald McDonald Foundation manages the Ronald McDonald House which is located in the courtyard of the Grigore Alexandrescu Children's Emergency Clinical Hospital and the children whose parents are admitted to the neurosurgery, intensive care, plastic surgery and cardiovascular surgery wards.

THIS EDITION IS A BIT DIFFERENT! WHY?
We chose these beneficiaries with the confidence that together we can meet their needs. While in previous years the set of letters was fixed, this year the list can be extended and delivery times vary according to the periods of treatment.

So here's what to look out for:
- Unfortunately, there are a few new patients arriving on the wards. Ecoxtrem aims to make every child's wish come true, so we may add letters as we go along. Check back for updates.
- Little ones have dietary restrictions - especially cancer patients. Please DO NOT include sweets or any other food item where not specified.

* The Ecoxtrem sprites give you several options to help. The most important help is to get involved and spread the word about our campaign to your colleagues. Then you can get involved as much as you want: by choosing a letter and becoming Santa Claus for a day (you can do it individually, with your family or with colleagues at the office) or through a corporate sponsorship (details at oana@ecoxtrem.ro 0725539272).
