JUNIOR EVENT PLANNER
Company description: Since 2006, Ecoxtrem has been offering innovative teambuilding, training and business simulation services, and supports companies’ efforts to develop their human capital. Starting from 2014, Ecoxtrem is part of the Qualians group, alongside TMI Romania.
Along the way, at the clients’ request, the company has devised its own Events Division which is in charge with the company’s non-teambuilding events:
- parties
- launches
- conferences
The Ecoxtrem Events Division has expanded yearly and need a enthusiastic event planner to join its ranks.
Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in sales campaigns: calling, meetings, on-site inspections
- Plan, design and produce events while managing all project deliverables within given due dates
- Create communication strategy & Copywrite for events
- Liaise with colleagues (Graphic Design, Teambuilding Consultants) to identify needs and to ensure customer satisfaction
- Identify & manage suppliers, gather information and negotiate contracts prior to closing any deals
- Material research and buying
- Propose ideas to improve provided services and event quality
- Manage all event’s details such as schedule, F&B, entertainment, transportation, accomodation units, invitee list, equipment, promotional materials etc…
- Coordinate the internal and external event staff
- Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems during the event
- In certain periods, will become part of the teambuilding sales team
- When possible, will participate in teambuilding events as a facilitator
Requirements:
- Event management experience (is a plus)
- Being able to demonstrate creative qualities (including Copywriting)
- Driver’s license (mandatory)
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently/ Multi-tasking
- Team player
- MS Office proficiency
- Proficient English
